Tonight's parade downtown honors ‘12 Days of Christmas'

The 37th annual West Alabama Christmas Parade will be tonight in downtown Tuscaloosa, with about 110 floats, antique cars, dancers, bands and horses to celebrate the “12 Days of Christmas” theme.​




Grand marshals are [Forest Lake's] Lee Allen Hallman, a retired commander in the U.S. Navy and former license commissioner in Tuscaloosa, and the Tuscaloosa Rotary Honor Flight World War II veterans.

Schlotzsky's Reopens

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -
Employees and residents alike are thrilled to have another business reopen in Tuscaloosa this week.
Schlotzsky's Deli, which was completely destroyed in the April 27 tornado, reopened this week to a full house. Workers report that more than 100 people lined up Wednesday morning to get a serious sandwich with a funny name.
